ABOUT

Linda Kurtz is a career coach, leadership guide, and workshop facilitator.

Her coaching and workshops provide the opportunity for discovery and learning, leaving people focused, energized and with a greater sense of what is essential for a happy, healthy career and life.

Linda is highly regarded as a go-to resource for anything career related as well as Strengths based leadership. She believes when we are seen, heard, and valued for who we uniquely are, we will make the most significant impact on society, in our fields of expertise, and for those we care about.

 

Linda’s experience includes a background in business, HR management, multiple coaching credentials, and over 500 hours coaching people in various career stages, helping to accelerate career success. As a Gallup CliftonStrengths certified coach, Linda helps individuals and teams leverage their unique talents and strengths resulting in improved communication, collaboration, performance, and better working relationships. 

 

When away from her coaching business, Linda serves as a volunteer coach for The Honor Foundation and as a Board member for Women’s Empowerment International.

BACKGROUND

Linda’s skill set and knowledge were forged from a business degree earned at San Diego State University, and several years as a Human Resources leader. She worked strategically with executive teams to manage the HR function from talent acquisition domestically and internationally, to resizing activities, and mergers and acquisitions.

In 2009 Linda made a transition to  career coaching, earning a handful of advanced career coaching credentials from Chapman University, UCSD and Career Partners International.  In 2015 Linda became Gallup CliftonStrengths certified and has since utilized the assessment to support individuals and teams in coming to understand their talent.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH LINDA

Linda is passionate about helping others live healthier and happier lives, connecting to their purpose and unique self.  She helps others match their talent and personal values to work and life direction.  This results in meaningful jobs that add up to meaningful careers defined by high levels of success and satisfaction.  
 
When asking what people want from their work she has heard over and over again, "to be appreciated," "make an impact" and "to work for a company that matches my values.”  Linda works with her clients to understand motivations, establish and accomplish goals, as well as face individual challenges.  

For some career coaching clients that might mean gearing up for a promotion, making a career shift, or getting back to work after unemployment.   For leaders and teams that might look like individual coaching and group sessions to increase communication, collaboration, and performance all in support of organizational objectives. For all of her clients that means coming to understand their unique talent and how to further develop and apply that talent at work.

Her recent work explores Building Community to increase outcomes at work.   Other workshop topics include, Your Strengths Your Story, Workplace Wellbeing, and Thriving at Work.
